Revoco - Support & FAQ

Compliant EU right-of-withdrawal for your Shopify storefront.

What does Revoco do?

Revoco adds a compliant right-of-withdrawal function to your storefront: a clearly labelled "Withdraw contract" button, a three-step declaration form (look up, choose items, confirm), a confirmation-of-receipt email on a durable medium, and a tamper-evident record of every submission in your admin. It is built for EU Directive 2023/2673 and national law such as German Section 356a BGB, effective 19 June 2026.

How do I set it up?

Install the app, open the Setup guide, then add the "Withdraw contract" button in your theme editor (add the Revoco "Withdrawal link" block wherever you want it — footer, customer account area, or any section). Set your sender identity and review the legal text under Settings. That is enough to start receiving declarations.

Does a shopper need an account to withdraw?

No. The withdrawal form is served on your own storefront and requires no login. The shopper enters their name, order or contract number, and email, then confirms.

How does verification work?

A declaration is only accepted when the order number and email match a real order in your store. This keeps the legal record trustworthy and protects you from abuse. Reading order data for verification requires Protected Customer Data access, which Shopify grants on review.

What does Revoco cost?

One simple plan: $14.99/month with everything included, and your first 14 days are free. That covers the compliant storefront button, the three-step form, the merchant inbox, the confirmation-of-receipt email, CSV export, full storefront customization, a dedicated storefront page, automatic order cancellation, an auto-block-past-deadline rule, item exclusions, automatic Shopify returns, a full audit log, and a per-declaration PDF evidence pack. Cancel anytime.

Who does the confirmation email come from?

The confirmation-of-receipt email is sent from Revoco's built-in sender, using your shop name and a reply-to of the sender address you set under Settings → Email. The on-screen receipt and the printable copy are the durable legal record regardless of email delivery.

Is the withdrawal legally effective once submitted?

Revoco confirms receipt only. The on-screen confirmation, the printable copy, and the email all state the date and exact time of receipt and make clear this is not an assessment of whether the withdrawal is legally effective. The legal review remains with you, the merchant.
